A month after releasing the first part, Netflix finally released You Season 4 Part 2 on March 9, and Joe Goldberg’s got wrapped in a nice bow.

But this season offers a different formula: the story focuses on someone’s obsession with Joe instead of Joe’s murderous obsession.

However, in the last five episodes, Joe is back as a serial killer addicted to protect the woman he loves.

Before reviewing You Season 4 Part 2, what happened in the first part?

After faking his death and blaming it on Love, Joe left Los Angeles and fled to Paris in search of Marienne.

Joe, now going by Jonathan Moore, became a professor at a university in London teaching literature.

He befriends a group of people, including his neighbors Malcolm and Kate, at a party.

The following morning, Joe wakes up to Malcolm dead in his kitchen with a knife through his heart.

Malcolm’s death sets the story, including the death of five more people.

In You Season 4 Part 2, Joe is looking up everything he can about Rhys Montrose, the killer.

The seventh episode sees Joe finds Montrose and strangle him while he’s tied to a chair to find out where he’s hiding Marienne.

When his body goes limp, and he dies, a second Montrose appears, showing Montrose is only Joe’s imagination.

Apparently, Joe was the one who kidnapped Marienne and killed all of those people.
