Washington Commanders Beat Baltimore Ravens 29-28


The Washington Commanders finally ended the Baltimore Ravens’ preseason win streak with a tight 29-28 win in Landover on Monday night.

The preseason game witnessed five lead changes and got a fast start as both teams combined for 31 points in the first 30 minutes of action.

Jake Fromm, Commanders QB, created a 51-yard drive to get Joey Slye in position to kick the final field goal.

That become the game-winning play after the Commanders were down by 2 points.

Besides Fromm, Sam Howell also looked comfortable in his first preseason game for the Washington Commanders.

He got 19-of-25 for 188 yards, zero interceptions, and two touchdowns in his first two quarters.

Overall, the Commanders’ offensive line looked good. According to PFF’s review, they just allowed two hurries from 24 pass-blocking snaps.

On the other side, Josh Johnson also looked sharp to give significant help to the Baltimore Ravens.

He scored a score on a 75-yard opening drive, finishing with 10-of-12 for 145 yards and two touchdowns.

Wide receiver Zay Flowers, Ravens’ rookie, caught two passes for 37 yards and his first NFL touchdown.

Flowers also forced two missed tackles along the way.
