The winner of The Voice 2022, Bryce Leatherwood, explained that the NBC competition is not only about having vocal skill and talent.

Coach Blake Shelton, John Legend, and Camila Cabello had at least one singer in the finale, leaving Gwen Stefani as the only coach without a mentee.
And, once again, Blake came out on top.
Bryce admitted that it’s not just about the voice; it’s about who you are as a person, who you are as an artist, and who America wants to love.
The Voice is a combination of an artist’s voice and personal identity.
Contestants need to build a genuine bond with the audience to win America's hearts.
The connection will help create an emotional resonance with the audience throughout the season.
However, some people think it’s an unfair advantage to sing country music.
But Bryce thought it confirmed the origins of The Voice’s fan base.
Bryce’s victory combined with the announcement of Blake Shelton’s last The Voice season in 2023.
The Voice Season 23 will premiere on March 6, 2023, only on NBC.
