On Friday, Türkiye’s energy watchdog extended the Austin-based automaker Tesla a license to install a charging network in the country.
Hence, Tesla becomes one of 119 companies operating charging stations and supporting electric vehicles across Türkiye.
The charging stations will be installed at several locations, such as parking lots, gas stations, and shopping centers.
Electric vehicle owners will receive charging services and can travel more affordably without worrying about rising fuel prices.

Since 2021, new electric car registrations have increased by more than 90% in Türkiye.
