In the space category, NASA successfully ranked number one on Fast Company’s list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2023.

In general, NASA got to number 17 overall. The list recognizes the agency’s accomplishments in exploration for the benefit of science and humanity.

Kelly Elliot, acting chief human capital officer, said the agency is incredibly proud of their team.

This recognition greatly supports NASA’s commitment to inspiring the world through innovation.

Over the last year, NASA has been exploring the unknown in space to improve life on Earth through medical, climate, and aviation technologies.

It explores some of humanity’s most complicated challenges.

Soon, NASA will face its biggest endeavor: sending astronauts back to the Moon and, finally, to Mars.

NASA conducted the Artemis I mission as the first integrated test of NASA’s Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft.

Last year, the agency also shared discoveries of the cosmos through the James Webb Space Telescope.

The agency also brilliantly moved an asteroid as the first-ever planetary defense demonstration.

Until 2023, NASA has maintained a human presence aboard the International Space Station for more than 22 years.

Besides its latest achievement, NASA has received several awards in the last few years for its Webb telescope discoveries.
