Meta’s Metaverse Horizon Worlds is Nearly Empty

Mark Zuckerberg’s Metaverse project called Horizon Worlds is failing, and it could endanger the existence of other platforms from Meta.

Almost no one spends much time in Horizon Worlds, with most worlds going completely unvisited.

On the other hand, other similar projects like VRChat and Second Life have more active users.

Horizon Worlds is a virtual reality Metaverse that lets players create and visit various “worlds” with other players.

Meta and Mark Zuckerberg hoped to have 500,000 monthly active users, but the number has been revised to around 200,000.

Statistically, only around nine percent of the world is visited by more than 50 Metaverse players.

Therefore, there are a lot of empty digital lands.

Mark Zuckerberg even created a giant flop called Questy’s, a digital world by Meta, as a part of a Super Bowl marketing tool.
