Despite the complex relationship with the royal family, Prince Harry and Megan Markle got an invitation to attend King Charles III’s coronation.
A spokesperson for the couple confirmed that The Duke received email correspondence from His Majesty regarding the coronation.
Whether The Duke and Duchess will come or not will be disclosed later.
Charles received the throne in September 2022 following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
King Charles III is set to be crowned on May 6.
Interestingly, fans believe this date was chosen to cause a conflict between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle since it’s their son Archie’s 4th birthday.
Their relationship has been complicated since the couple resigned from their senior royal duties in January 2020.
Furthermore, the tension worsened when Harry published “Spare,” a memoir that revealed some family secrets.
The book discusses an alleged physical altercation between Harry and his brother, Prince William.
It also says that Charles made hurtful comments about Harry’s “real father” since he has red hair.
The younger son of the late Princess Diana wrote that Charles would laugh and said Harry’s real father was one of Diana’s former lovers: Major James Hewitt.
However, the royals haven’t given any comment to address the content of the controversial memoir.
