O’Hara said that the reason the “Home Alone” franchise was and is beloved is because of Kevin McAllister or Macaulay Culkin.

The movie was directed by Chris Columbus and written by John Hughes. Besides Macaulay Culkin and O’Hara, Home Alone also starred Joe Pesci, John Heard, and Daniel Stern.

Culkin’s perfect performance as Kevin gave the audience cool experiences on an extraordinary adventure.

She also explained that sudden stardom could have been too much for Culkin, but his sense of humor helped him persevere.

It means a sign of intelligence in a child, she added. She also thanked Culkin for including her, the fake mom who left Kevin twice, to share this happy occasion.

Both of them shared a hug, as Culkin wiped away tears next to the podium.

Besides O’Hara, Culkin’s partner Brenda Song, siblings Quinn Culkin and Rory Culkin, and friends Seth Green and Paris Jackson also attended the ceremony.
