CNN “parted ways” with its anchor Don Lemon, who hosted the channel’s morning show, after accusations of misbehavior and misogyny.

The Don Lemon news happened because Lemon said Republican Nikki Haley was not “in her prime.”

After his dismissal, CNN’s This Morning program will continue with Lemon’s co-hosts, Kaitlan Collins and Poppy Harlow.

As expected, they opened the Tuesday morning segment with comments on Lemon’s departure.

Kaitlan Collins said Lemon was one of the first CNN anchors to have her on the show.

Don Lemon got troubled earlier this year when he commented about Republican presidential hopeful Nikki Hailey, a former governor of South Carolina.

Lemon’s comment about Nikki Haley was widely interpreted as sexist.

After receiving objections from his female co-hosts, Don Lemon said, “I’m just saying what the facts are.”

Later on the same day, CNN Don Lemon issued a statement saying he regretted his irrelevant comment.

However, it already got criticism from the public, including actress Michelle Yeoh who gave a speech during her Oscar acceptance.

Lemon’s reputation was further troubled by a report that detailed his misogynistic behaviors toward his CNN colleagues.

At last, these hurtful events lead to Don Lemon being fired.

Besides Don Lemon CNN, the dismissal comes from another significant media as Fox News announced it parted ways with host Tucker Carlson.
