Bronny James, the son of NBA Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, suffered a cardiac arrest during basketball practice on Monday.

According to a statement from a family spokesperson, he was hospitalized after having a practice at the University of Southern California.

The statement also said that Bronny James is now in good condition and no longer in ICU.

Lebron and Savannah, his wife, sent their deepest appreciation to the USC medical staff for their dedication to the safety of their athletes.

After graduating from Sierra Canyon High School in LA, Bronny is an incoming freshman on his university’s basketball team.

The 6-foot-3 guard was shined in the McDonald’s All-American Game in March along with other top high school basketball players.

During his senior year of high school, Bronny averaged 14.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 2.4 assists.

His USC team is seeking to reach the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Tournament for the fourth consecutive time.

Meanwhile, LeBron James, 38, will enter his sixth season with the LA Lakers and 21st season in the NBA.

The four-time NBA champion once said one of his career goals is to play in the NBA with his son.

During an interview with the Athletic in 2022, LeBron said his last year in the NBA will be played with Bronny.

Hopefully, Bronny James can get healthy as soon as possible from cardiac arrest and fulfill his father’s dream.
