In the dying seconds of the Army-Navy game, a goal-line stand clinched a 17-11 Army victory in the 124th edition of the Army-Navy matchup.

Hence, the Black Knights received the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy as a result.

The win came after quarterback Bryson Daily produced 27 carries times for 84 yards

Daily also added one passing touchdown to running back Tyson Riley. In the first three-quarters of the Army-Navy game, the Navy offense struggled and trailed 17-3 in the last quarter.

But they found a rhythm and The Midshipmen produced a touchdown drive in two minutes to bring them back in the game.

Tai Lavatai loosened the Army defense with his creativity to pass the ball, but he was just a yard short on the final quarterback sneak.

The Black Knights will celebrate as it’s their sixth win in eight seasons in the storied rivalry.

On the other hand, the Navy suffered a losing record for the fourth straight season since going 11-2 in 2019.

Fans packed the stands at Gilette Stadium many hours before kickoff since there were many events in the pregame lead-up.

It included the finale of the Patriot Games which presented an obstacle course finale for participants.

It’s the first Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy for the Army since 2020 and fourth overall.
