Denver Broncos Coach Sean Payton Blasts Former Coach

It’s quite rare for a coach to critique the team’s previous coach staff, but new Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton just did that.

He said that Broncos’ last coach Nathaniel Hackett had done “one of the worst coaching jobs in the NFL history.”

Hackett was let go by Denver Broncos after a 4-11 record last season.

Furthermore, Payton also complained about the team’s treatment of quarterback Russell Wilson last season.

According to him, there are 20 dirty hands who are responsible for the training and meeting rooms.

Russell Wilson has a Super Bowl XLVIII champion and nine-time Pro Bowler on his resume.

However, he had a career-worst season in his first year for Denver Broncos with 16 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, and 3,524 yards passing.

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton continued his rant by saying that’s an incrimination on the president, the GM, the head coach, and everybody else who watched it all happen.

Later, Payton took aim at the New York Jets who hired Nathaniel Hackett as the offensive coordinator.

The Jets had a promising acquisition after trading for four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers.

Despite the big offseason and hype around the Jets, Sean Payton feels the team won’t meet the expectation.

The New York Jets are scheduled to play the Denver Broncos in week 5.
