Cowboys Destroy Giants 40-0 for Shutout Loss

The Dallas Cowboys got a huge 40-0 win over the New York Giants and showed they are going to be a serious contender for the NFL championship.

Noah Igbinoghene turned a blocked field goal 58 yards for a touchdown.

Besides, DaRon Bland scored on a pick-6 later and the Cowboys posted a season-opening 40-0 win on Sunday night.

Quarterback Dak Prescott said they need to stay disciplined throughout the season.

Tony Pollard produced two short touchdown runs as Dallas forced three turnovers and put Daniel Jones down seven times.

Hence, Dallas defeated the Giants for the fifth straight time and 12 times in their last 13 matches.

It was the Cowboys’ biggest win in any game, after their 38-0 in 1978 over the Baltimore Colts.

This result also topped the previous largest score between the teams, the Cowboys’ 35-0 win in 1995.

After all, last night’s match was supposed to be the game that showed the Giants had minimized the gap in Dallas.

Dallas got two field goals from new guy Brandon Aubrey as Pollard got Dallas’ first touchdown.

This touchdown pushed the Cowboys’s advantage to 26-0 at halftime.

However, the Giants’ veteran wide receiver Sterling Shepard still believed in his team as one less shouldn’t define the season for them.
