In a Super Bowl LVII rematch between the Eagles vs Chiefs, Philadelphia got their revenge with a 21-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

It also marked coach Andy Reid’s first loss against his former team.

Before the match, Philadelphia’s coach Nick Sirianni said that the Chiefs would not give the ring if the Eagles beat the team this week.

However, the win still felt pretty sweet.

It puts the Philadelphia Eagles in a great position for a return trip to the championship game.

Philadelphia maintains the best record (9-1) despite multiple tests from playoff-level teams like the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, and Chiefs in recent weeks.

Thus, the push for the top seed in the NFC is on. But statistically speaking, there are still some issues to address for Philly.

The Eagles are the No. 1 rushing defense in the NFL with 66.3 YPG, but they got gashed for 121 yards in the first half alone.

They got the same issue during the Eagles vs Chiefs match in the Super Bowl when Kansas City ran for 158 yards.

After the defeat, the Chiefs are a half-game behind the Baltimore Ravens with a 7-3 record in the race for the AFC’s first-round playoff bye.

The Kansas City Chiefs will visit Las Vegas Raiders in the next game.
