Severe Dallas Weather Sweeps Through Fort Worth; Tornado Reported

A tornado warning that was in effect for the Dallas-Fort Worth area expired after a severe thunderstorm brought heavy rain to the region.
Authorities announced the warning until Thursday at 5 pm for parts of Tarrant County and Fort Worth.
It expired early, but weather spotters confirmed finding cloud rotation form that occurred briefly.
Meanwhile, another tornado warning for Dallas County expired on Thursday, March 16.
A severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was spotted near Irving, but it moved northeast at 40 mph.
Thunderstorms and strong winds damaged Autos of Dallas car dealership in Irving, but no one was injured.
A townhome complex in Irving saw roof damage in seven units.
The Fort Worth Office of Emergency Management explained it received no major storm damage report.
On Twitter, the City of Fort Worth wrote that stormwater crews responded to calls and alerts, including the flash flood warning.
Crews were scouting the area of Riverside and 121 for potential storm damage.
Besides, people reported large hail up to the size of tennis balls across the region.
Flooding occurred in some areas, too.
According to a call log, the Fort Worth Fire Department is being called to help people in Trinity Boulevard, Camp Bowie Boulevard, Hulen Street, Las Vegas Court, and Vickery Boulevard.
The National Weather Services released a flash flood warning for Dallas and Tarrant counties as heavy rain fell.
