Is There A Glitch in the Open Tesla-me Software?

In Vancouver, Canada, Rajesh Randev mistakenly unlocked the wrong Tesla car in a parking lot and drove that car for an hour and a half.

Two Tesla cars were parked side by side, and he opened the door with an app on his phone.

At first, he noticed a crack in the windscreen that he knew nothing about.

Randev called his wife about it, and obviously, she didn’t know about it either.

Next, he found his phone charger was in a different place than he had put it that morning.

He became more confused when he received a text message asking whether he was in a Tesla.

Later, he opened the car with the app on his phone, which should be impossible since it wasn’t his car.

After looking at the car's wheels, he realized it wasn’t his Tesla. Interestingly, Randev even managed to open the car again after parking.

Hours later, he met the original owner, who drove the same model and color; they were both laughing.

They also called the police to report the case.

Even though Randev’s statement, the police couldn’t give him a file number since nothing happened.

Randev has reached out to Elon Musk and Tesla to explain the situation, but he hasn’t received any reply.
